Five Brooks Camp is located in the Point Reyes National Seashore. There are hundreds of trails for you and your friends to ride on. At the camp you will find individual sites, each including its own firepit and picnic table. The camp is operated by Andrew Loose, also owner of a horse rental business Five Brooks Ranch next door to the camp. If you come to the camp but don’t have a horse, you can rent one for the day from our horse rental facility: Five Brooks Ranch. Point Reyes National Seashore is a gorgeous location. From all types of flowers and trees to amazing views of mountains and even the ocean. There are also different types of animals including bobcats, foxes, deer, and all sorts of birds. At the camp there are bathrooms and showers located about two minutes away from your campsite at walking or riding distance.
Andrew keeps the prices super low because his main goal is to promote the equestrian arts. The campsites are large enough to fit one truck and one trailer plus up to four horses, and it costs just $10 per night. If you need to fit more vehicles, trailers, and horses you can double-up or triple-up the site, at $20 and $30 respectively. Each adult or teen pays $10 per night, the little ones 12 and under get to stay for free. Horses pay $10 per night.
To reserve your stay call us at 415 390 6040. You don’t pay at the time of reservation, but we will ask you for a credit card number in case you flake. The camp host will be collecting your fee when you arrive, and you can pay with cash. Regular weekends require a two-night minimum stay. Weekends begin on Friday. Holiday weekends require a three-night minimum stay.
